Tip #2: Check “Bind IP” at login. This unique function, which protects your current login session from hijacking from unauthorized networks, is available only at Gate.io.

Tip #3: Set a fund password to verify trades and withdrawals. This password is separate from your login password and is a very effective way to prevent unauthorized transactions.

Tip #4: Configure two-factor authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator or YubiKey to add an extra layer of security to your login process by requiring more than one form of authentication (e.g. password + authenticator).

Tip #5: Enable an anti-phishing code to detect fraudulent emails. This unique code will appear in official Gate.io emails regarding your account and activity, allowing you to spot genuine messages easily.
