Remember This President Trump's XRP Bullish Mention

When President Donald Trump unveiled the plan for a national Crypto Strategic Reserve earlier this year, the announcement carried a detail that still stands out. In outlining the initiative, Trump specifically listed XRP, alongside other digital assets, as part of the reserve framework.

For those like crypto influencer John Squire (@TheCryptoSquire) who have followed the market closely, this was a significant acknowledgement that a token once seen as the subject of regulatory battles had entered the center of U.S. policy considerations.

Squire has now revisited that announcement, pointing out that XRP was the very first name mentioned. His remarks reflected a view that some traders continue to underestimate the importance of this moment, and how much XRP can grow.

XRP’s Inclusion in the Crypto Reserve

Trump announced plans to create a strategic crypto reserve in early March, less than two weeks after his inauguration. Squire shared a screenshot of Trump’s announcement where he described the reserve as a way to elevate digital assets after what he called years of hostile action from the previous administration.

He directed the Presidential Working Group to implement the program and ensure that assets such as XRP, SOL, and ADA were included. By doing so, the administration gave XRP significant recognition as part of a structured national reserve plan, an outcome that was far from guaranteed only a few years earlier when regulatory scrutiny had been the dominant narrative.

The decision to reference XRP so clearly has been interpreted as a policy signal rather than a passing mention. For financial institutions, that means XRP is now a consideration in areas such as custody, settlement, and liquidity planning. This is the point that Squire emphasized when reminding his audience that dismissing XRP now could look shortsighted years down the line.

Here’s Why You Should Buy XRP

Squire sent a pointed message to those looking to exit their XRP positions, writing, “Just don’t ask why you’re still broke in 2030.” With Trump’s recognition of XRP and the asset’s growing global recognition, anyone looking to see their tokens now could miss out on significant gains over the next few years.

A recent Bitwise prediction suggests XRP could reach almost $30 by 2030, marking an increase of almost 900%. Experts have consistently advised community members and investors to buy XRP and wait instead of waiting to buy tokens, and those who get in early will benefit the most from this growth over the next few years.
