【Hong Kong Financial Secretary: Preparations are underway for the issuance of the third batch of Token bonds and the promotion of tokenization of assets and financial instruments such as precious metals】According to the Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Ho Ching-yu stated that Hong Kong has issued green bonds in tokenized form twice in 2023 and 2025, and preparations for the third batch of token bonds are also underway. Subsequently, Hong Kong will regularize the issuance of tokenized government bonds and provide incentives for the tokenization of real-world assets, such as exempting stamp duty on the transfer of tokenized exchange-traded funds (ETF), among others. In addition, Hong Kong will also promote the broader tokenization of assets and financial instruments, demonstrating the diverse applications of tokenization technology in different fields, including precious metals, non-ferrous metals, and renewable energy (such as solar panels).
