Institutions: The Federal Reserve may have one to two more rate cuts left this year.

On March 19, Jin Ten Data reported that Deborah Cunningham, Chief Investment Officer responsible for global Liquidity markets at Federated Hermes, stated in a report that the Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates once or twice before the end of this year. Cunningham indicated that the Fed's next rate cut could happen in May, and if necessary, a second cut could occur closer to the end of the year. She remarked, "This is completely different from the situation after the September meeting last year." "This reflects ongoing inflation and consumer resilience."
