Microsoft's cloud business rise exceeded expectations with record AI spending.

Jin10 data, July 31 - Microsoft (MSFT.O) reported that its cloud business growth exceeded expectations in its fourth quarter financial report, and stated that spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure reached an all-time high. Microsoft said in its earnings report on Wednesday that the highly关注 Azure cloud computing division saw a 39% rise in sales for the fourth quarter; the company also stated that in the year ending June 30, sales in the cloud computing division rose by 34%, reaching over $75 billion, marking the first time Microsoft disclosed Azure's revenue data. After the earnings report was released, Microsoft experienced a big pump of about 7% in after-hours trading. In recent years, Microsoft has deployed AI tools in its products, including those powered by ChatGPT maker OpenAI, betting that conversational Bots and stronger automation technologies will drive sales growth in its productivity software and cloud services.
