US Secretary of State Pompeo: Whether Iran has truly decided to make a nuclear bomb is "irrelevant"

Gate News bot message, according to the well-known financial blog ZeroHedge, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Sunday that whether Iran decides to manufacture nuclear weapons is "irrelevant" because he was asked about the lack of evidence that Tehran has taken steps to weaponize its nuclear program.

When asked about the fact that the US intelligence agencies have no evidence to suggest that Iran was seeking to make nuclear bombs before Israel attacked Iran, Rubio made the above remarks in an interview with CBS News.

"It doesn't matter. I think the question the media asked is irrelevant. They have everything they need to make weapons," Rubio said.

In March of this year, according to multiple media reports, US National Intelligence Director Turlsi Gabard said that there is no evidence that Iran has decided to manufacture nuclear weapons, which is still the consensus of the US intelligence community.
