PANews, May 29 - According to Bloomberg, Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party in the UK, announced at the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas that if elected, he would promote the "Crypto Bill," which aims to reduce the Capital Gains Tax on crypto investments from 24% to 10%, establish a two-year regulatory sandbox, and ban restrictions on crypto payment services. This move is intended to attract crypto-friendly voters aged 18-34, aligning with a Trump-like stance on crypto. Currently, the Reform Party's polls have surpassed those of the ruling Labour Party. Farage described crypto assets as a peaceful resistance to "government centralized control" and opposed the Bank of England's proposed CBDC "Britcoin."
