Bybit Updates Mobile App to Simplify Crypto and Expand Global Reach
Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has rolled out a major update to its mobile app, aiming to simplify access to digital assets and broaden its global user base.
The launch is part of the company’s ongoing #IMakeIt rebranding campaign, reflecting a shift toward a more user-centered approach in design and functionality.
Updated Interface and Navigation
The revamped Bybit app introduces a high-contrast interface, minimalist icons, and a more organized layout, designed to make navigation faster and more intuitive.
Bybit says the goal is to give the platform a fresher, more modern appearance while making it easier for users to browse, trade, and manage their crypto portfolios on mobile devices.
Simplified Mode for New Users
A notable addition in the update is Bybit Lite, a streamlined mode aimed at first-time crypto users. The simplified interface reduces complexity, providing a more accessible entry point into digital asset trading.
Bybit Lite supports one-click trading for major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), and offers guided instructions to help users navigate the process. Users can switch seamlessly between Lite and Pro modes depending on their experience.
Despite its simplified design, Lite mode grants access to the platform’s promotional offerings. New users who complete verification and make an initial deposit are eligible for a $100 bonus, with additional incentives available through trading and referral programs. Rewards are automatically applied, eliminating the need for manual claims.
More Advanced Tools for Experienced Traders
The update also enhances features for experienced traders through Pro Mode, which offers faster access to spot, derivatives, and traditional finance (TradFi) markets.
Additional tools in Pro Mode include copy trading, automated trading bots, and AI-assisted strategy support powered by ChatGPT.
The app also enables users to customize home screens for quicker access to frequently used tools and features.
Changes to Earnings and Asset Management
The update includes changes aimed at improving transparency and usability. The redesigned “My Page” screen offers smoother navigation and introduces a Usage History tool to help users track their platform activity.
The “Bybit Earn” section has been reorganized into three categories: Easy Earn, which offers flexible, beginner-friendly options; On-Chain Earn, focused on decentralized finance opportunities; and Advanced Earn, designed for higher-yield strategies. A new Earn Profile allows users to view both idle and invested assets side by side.
Additional features such as Batch Redeem and improved order tracking provide users with greater control and clearer insight into their earnings.
The new Bybit app version is available now on Android and iOS. The crypto exchange currently serves more than 70 million users worldwide.
