Famous analyst Willy Woo sold most of his Bitcoins: He explained the reason.
Willy Woo, a former Bitcoin enthusiast who has appealed to millions with his comments, gave an interview to Bitcoin Magazine. The legendary investor stated that he sold a large portion of his Bitcoins and invested the capital obtained from this into Bitcoin infrastructure companies.
"Grows up to 50 times"
Woo described this move more as "Focusing on selling shovels instead of gold during a time when everyone is buying gold," and added:
"The market value of Bitcoin is currently around 2 trillion dollars... From here, it could rise to 100 trillion dollars with a growth of 50 times in the coming periods. But if you invest in a Bitcoin company or venture, you could even achieve returns of 100 or even 1000 times."
"The old ones are making very large sales"
Despite Bitcoin reaching new peaks, Woo noted that it has not increased at the speed that people expected, attributing this to large sell-offs by early investors:
"Billions of dollars are flowing into ETFs, but Bitcoin is not rising as quickly as people expect. Those who bought below one thousand dollars are selling today for one hundred thousand dollars. The remaining ninety-nine thousand dollars difference has to be covered by new buyers... This is not easy. A lot of money inflow is needed. A very large sum is required to push out those who bought at a low price."
Woo also stated that the companies he is currently investing in have a market value between 4 and 20 million dollars.
